First Meeting of 2014 Changed to January 21st

Hi, folks, Mr. P. will be at a conference on January 16th, so he would like us to have the Booster meeting on Tuesday January 21st at 6:30 PM.  Please come--we will elect officers, and we have to continue our preparation for the SkillsUSA contest!

The next Boosters Club meeting will be December 16th at 6:30 pm in the CSHS Construction Lab classroom.  We will be discussing topics like the SkillsUSA competition and drafting the club's by-laws.  Come and be involved!

Boosters Meeting the night of Monday October 21st

Hello, everyone, the welding class was a great success this past Saturday, and we'd like to follow up on that success in planning future welding events, as well as discussing other events and initiatives.  We know that we cannot find a time that works with everyone's schedules, and we apologize in advance.  We would like to hold our next parents' meeting this coming Monday October 21st at 6:30 pm in the classroom right off the construction lab at CSHS.  Hope you can make it!

SolidWorks Demo on 15 October

Hi, everyone, Peter's Dad will be giving a demo of SolidWorks at Room 0345 at CSHS from 4-6 pm on Tuesday 15 October.  Mr. P would like people to RSVP to this events, and the link for that is HERE.

Also, Mr. Green will offer instruction on Adobe Premiere on 17 October from 4-6 pm.  Please email him for more information.

Welding Class, 12 October

The Boosters are excited for their first event: Introduction to Welding!  This class will be held on Saturday, 12 October, from 9 AM to 12 Noon.  It will be at R.E. C. Industries, which is 12580 Highway 30.

Any CSHS RECD student who would like to attend is welcome for free, but they must RSVP to this event.  Use the tab at the top of the page to RSVP, or the link is HERE.

Students must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and must wear closed-toe shoes.

Students will learn about welding equipment, tour this industrial fabrication plant, and be introduced to arc welding, mig welding, oxyacetylene welding, and the plasma cutter.  You won't want to miss this!  We are grateful to Andy Clouston for his help in setting this up.

We're planning to all get lunch afterwards, so if you want to join us, bring some money to buy your lunch.
